Radio check
Settings, Radio now lists every input on your PC by its full name, and you choose the one Airside listens to. Automatic is still the default and still works as it did. Beside it, Test microphone opens the one you ticked and shows six bars that move with your voice. If they stay dark, Airside is not hearing you, and now you can see that before a shift instead of during one.
A problem report now also says which microphone Airside was listening to, so we can help without asking.
The flight board after midnight
At a field that closes for the night, the board used to read "Nothing else due today" with the whole morning bank still to come. It now shows the next movements however far off they are: the first departures at five are on the board at one.
Live traffic
The Live traffic card shows how many new airports you have left today and this month, as two bars. An airport Airside already has is free and never counts.
On the frequency
One flight deck in eight is now a woman's, up from one in twenty. Nine voices that did not sound like a real crew are gone, which leaves forty five, every one of them heard before any comes back.
Smaller things
While an update downloads, the installer names the version it is bringing. The apron question at the start of a shift reads properly at every count.
