Last updated 5 September 2026. These are both the terms of use for this site and the end user licence agreement for the software.
Airside is sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Your purchase contract, your invoice and your payment relationship are with Paddle, under Paddle's buyer terms.
The licence to use the software is between you and Airside, the name this product is made and sold under, and that is what the rest of this page covers.
A perpetual licence to Airside, an air traffic control simulator for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It is not a subscription and there is no recurring charge.
Airside requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which you must already own and have installed.
You may install and use Airside for your own use, on the number of computers your licence allows, and reinstall it as often as you need. You may publish videos, streams and screenshots made with Airside, including commercially, without further permission.
A licence is tied to a limited number of computers, and your account page shows which ones it is running on. Moving it to a different computer is done by us: write to support from the e-mail address on the account and we will move it, once in any twelve months. If a computer has been lost, stolen or has failed, tell us and we will sort it out.
Updates to Airside are included and are not charged for. We do not commit to a particular feature or a particular date. If we later release something substantial enough to be a product of its own, such as a further controller position, it may be sold separately; the licence you hold is not affected by that and keeps its own updates.
The software is licensed, not sold. All rights not granted above are reserved.
Airside verifies your licence with our server when it starts, and will not open if it cannot reach it. A session already running is not interrupted by a brief loss of connection.
Your licence ends if it is refunded, if the payment is reversed, if it is shared or the licence check is circumvented, or if you ask us to close your account. We may also end it where Airside is used unlawfully.
We warrant that Airside performs as described on this site. Beyond that, and to the extent permitted by law, the software is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is free of faults, that it is fit for a particular purpose you have in mind, or that it is compatible with every add-on, aircraft or scenery package.
Airside is entertainment software. It is not a training device and must not be relied on for real aviation.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with Airside is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
If you send us a diagnostic bundle, you permit us to open it and use its contents to diagnose the problem you reported. It is used for nothing else and is deleted after 60 days. What a bundle contains is set out in the privacy policy.
We may change these terms for future purchases and will update the date above. Rights under a licence already bought are not withdrawn retroactively.
Airside is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation, Asobo Studio, or any airline, airport or aircraft manufacturer whose name or livery may appear. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Airline names, codes and liveries identify real operators for the purpose of simulation.
Airside includes open source software. The licences of those components are supplied with the application and continue to apply to them.
